Paul has completed several projects for us in the last three years as part of renovating our home in inner Melbourne. Each project has been completed in the agreed timeframe. We recently completed a ten-month substantial renovation of our Edwardian home by BBK and Govern constructions. The project, which had to conform to a heritage overlay, included re-stumping and herringbone flooring throughout, moving walls and period windows, and a complete refitting of the kitchen, four bathrooms and laundry. Paul also transformed an existing garage into a pool house and bathroom with surrounding deck. Paul managed the project from start to finish, with efficient communication throughout. The finishes are impeccable and we couldn’t be happier with our finished home.

The best thing about working with Paul is that there are no dumb questions. Rebuilding a house can be daunting for amateurs, but Paul was always happy to answer questions, explain how things work and make changes in a way that was practical and patient. His attention to detail was first rate and he made a number of great suggestions that made our home even better than we'd planned. BBK's workmanship is excellent - I still love spotting our house from the street and thinking how good it looks. We couldn't recommend Paul highly enough.

I would happily recommend Paul and his team. He took our poorly articulated ideas and vague hand gestures, and turned them into a beautiful new home office, master-bedroom, walk-in robe, and ensuite. He’s great to work with, a real no fuss straight-shooter, has great relationships with his trades, and an incredible eye for detail. I still marvel at the symmetry of our bathroom tiling every day!
